Useful information
I understand that documents are often needed for use abroad at short notice and that speed and efficiency are of the essence. It is my responsibility however to ensure that any documents prepared for you are compiled to a high standard of care. The information in them will be relied on by officials in other countries.
I must ensure full compliance with all relevant requirements both here and abroad. Care must be taken to minimise the risk of any errors as well as to comply with international money laundering requirements.
To help me provide you with an efficient service you can help by:
1. Contacting me at an early stage to discuss what is needed. I will be able to provide you with information about the steps that need to be taken, the documents or other information that I will need from you, the likely timescale and the likely cost.
2. Providing a copy of the document that needs to be notarised prior to your appointment, including any covering letter or instructions that you have received about it. It is extremely helpful if this can be emailed to me.
3. For identification purposes at our meeting each person who will be signing the document needs to have their passport and a recent utility bill or bank statement available. I cannot complete matters for you without being able to verify your identity and your residential address.
